Welcome to Vida
Within the four walls of my quaint studio, imagination, creativity, and sometimes even memories take life and form. That’s why I chose to call it Vida—Spanish for life.
Pottery is one of the most timeless craft traditions of India. But for me, it’s also the perfect antidote to the chaos of the digital world. The messiness of clay—wet, damp, and unpredictable—requires presence. It invites you to slow down. It demands that you put aside your phone, let go of notifications, and lose yourself in the rhythm of your hands.
When I started, I created objects as a form of self-expression—small, imperfect pieces made just for me. But over time, my ceramics—cups, bowls, vases, and more—have found homes across the country. They now live on dining tables, in kitchen cabinets, and on sunny window sills.
And that’s why I’ve opened up Vida to kindred spirits. To those who crave the quiet satisfaction of making something by hand. To those who find joy in process. To those who want to create, connect, and perhaps take back a little of the tranquility that pottery has given me.
Whether you’re here to learn, explore, or just get your hands dirty, welcome home

About Me
Hi, I’m Vidhi. I used to work in advertising—where deadlines are tight, and souls go to die. Then I found clay.
What started as a messy escape turned into Vida—my studio, my sanctuary, and sometimes my personal chaos lab. I make bold, quirky ceramics that are meant to be used, loved, and maybe dropped once (don’t worry, they’re sturdy).
Pottery keeps me sane-ish. It’s slow, grounding, and forces you to be present—because clay doesn’t care about your to-do list. Now I spend my days elbow-deep in mud, teaching others to make things with their hands and maybe leave their brains behind for a while.
